Another thing that struck me at the church the other day was the campaign to derail marriage outside the straight man-woman construct. Then today someone on my Facebook (sadly an actual friend) made a comment about women and driving.
Personally all these -isms are nothing by playground behaviour. When are all these middle-aged men (and sometimes bigotted women too) going to give up this nonsense of judging people by labels as opposed to their individual abilities. You know whats ruining marriage and childhoods? Adultery, cheating, divorce, drugs, poverty and drink. None of which your legislation prevents against. In fact if you were serious about alcohol problems, alcohol would be illegal!
I just don’t get it. When I hear of someone saying two commited loving people, no matter what gender, can’t marry and raise normal children. I just hear “black/asian/brown/wog/chink” in place of “gay”. Bigots just find a new bunch of people to hate. In that case, myself and A wouldn’t be able to marry.
And coz she’s a girl…surely she can’t be an incredibly intelligent Oxford educated physicist… coz only men can do that. That means that Danica Patrick (if women cannot drive) isn’t an incredibly talented Indy 500 winner.
Grow up your wrinkly-faced dinosaurs. No matter how long you try to indoctrinate the impressionable youth, you days are numbered.
